The Oscars III

Jewellery Designer Sydney
Some of the most wearable jewellery at this year’s Oscars came from lesser known designers and not the big five: Bulgari, Cartier, Chopard, Harry Winston and Tiffany.
Jewellery Designer Sydney: Diamond Earrings & Necklaces, Oscars 2019
Maya Rudolph was on the worst dressed list with slicked back hair and a billowing, baggy, flowery, pink Giambattista Valli ruffled dress, but fabulous Irene Neuwirth earrings we would all love to wear. Typically Neuwirth, they featured South Sea and Akoya pearls, green and pink opals, blue chalcedony, tourmalines and turquoise, fancy sapphire hearts, and of course diamonds set in 18-karat white and yellow gold — the ultimate chandelier earrings. And Irene Neuwirth was at the Oscars herself, in four inimitable18k white and yellow gold, opal bead, roundel, gumball and diamond necklaces and a Sandra Mansour dress.
Danai Gurira, who starred in ‘Black Panther’, was spectacular from head — an antique Victorian headband and drop earrings from Fred Leighton, no stranger to the red carpet — to toe — Roger Vivier. In-between she wore a strapless gold metallic dress from Brock, and a gold and diamond bracelet and rings.
Julia Roberts — Pretty Woman in pink — presented the Oscar for best picture in Taiwanese designer Cindy Chao’s sculptural, one-of-a-kind 20 carat pear-shaped diamond and conch pearl Architectural earrings and a fabulous diamond Branch bangle.
Lisa Bonet and her husband, Jason Momoa, were both in muted pink Fendi in a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, and she wore huge, dangling Fernando Jorge Clarity diamond and yellow gold earrings and a Jacquie Aiche hand piece with an opal motif.
Jaime Ray Newman, who won her Oscar for Skin, wore an Oscar de la Renta with a pair of Buccellati Esmeralda earrings — 6.41 carats of pear-shaped emeralds set in lacy yellow and white gold with diamonds.
Marina de Tavira, the Roma nominee for best supporting actress, was in a bright red J. Mendel gown and huge, heavy Burmese ruby and diamond Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
Constance Wu was brave enough to pull her hair back in a ponytail and wear a breathtakingly long pair of vintage-inspired drop Atelier Swarovski earrings.
Supermodel Ashley Graham wore a Zac Posen dress for her first appearance at the Oscars, and a million dollars of Martin Katz jewellery.
Emma Stone’s minimalist multi-earring look went well with her striking sculptured copper Louis Vuitton dress.
